“I work 2 full time jobs so a hot tub is almost mandatory for my business trips. This time I didn't even look to see if there was a hot tub here. I booked here because I seen all the wonderful reviews and I was not disappointed. Check in was smooth and pleasant. I went straight to the hot tub to find a soft dim welcoming pool environment with beautiful multi colored lights. The hot tub was the best! It was a HOT tub and the tile was clean and the hot tub comfortably held 7 of us with plenty of space. We were not crowded at all. Guests were all pleasant and kind, a positive sign that we were all enjoying our down time. I'm definitely coming back! Quesnel has always been my mini escape from all the noise at work. I love the beauty of Quesnel. Now the Sandman is a part of my self care while on business. Thank you for having us and we look forward to coming back! Its also the right price!”

“My wife and I recently stayed at the Sandman Hotel in Quesnel as part of the Rocky Mountaineer Train Tour. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and warmth by the manager and staff, who ensured our stay was quiet and comfortable. The townspeople even welcomed us in their classic cars, as we received goodie bags from Rocky Mountaineer staff. The pride and passion of the Quesnel people were only surpassed by their warmth and kindness. I highly recommend both the Sandman Hotel and Quesnel for any visit to western BC.”

“We had an unexpected adventure last night and ended up staying at the Sandman Hotel in Quesnel, and I truly can’t say enough good things about this place and their staff. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly friendly, calm, and accommodating. They went above and beyond to help us — upgrading our room to better accommodate all of our belongings and our dogs, allowing a late checkout until 3:00 p.m. while we sorted out logistics of getting home, and then extending it even further without hesitation when we realized we’d need more time. No questions, no pressure — just genuine care. On top of that, the room was extremely clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a stressful situation. This level of hospitality is rare, and it made a huge difference for us. Huge thank you to the team at Sandman Quesnel — we won’t forget it.”

“Just want to give a big shout out and thank you to Jessica St Hilaire (front office manager), for upgrading us after we had such a bad experience at a different hotel the night before!! She went above and beyond to giving us a beautiful suite!! She made our working week like a beautiful staycation!! Newly renovated wonderful rooms!! Thank you all, we’ll be back for sure!!”

“We recently stayed at the Sandman Hotel Quesnel while in town for my mother’s surgery, and it was such a relief to have a smooth, comfortable experience during a stressful time. The hotel was clean, modern, and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were the perfect temperature for relaxing and getting a good night’s sleep. Even though the hotel is close to the highway, you would hardly notice any noise. We would definitely recommend staying here if you’re visiting Quesnel!”

“had such a great experience at the Sandman in Quesnel, and a big part of that was thanks to Zaidee. From the moment I arrived, she was incredibly warm, welcoming, and professional. She made the check-in process smooth and easy, and you can tell she genuinely cares about making guests feel comfortable. What stood out the most was her attention to detail and positive attitude. She went above and beyond to answer questions and make sure everything was taken care of, which made my stay feel stress-free and enjoyable. It’s not often you come across someone who brings that level of kindness and dedication to their job. Zaidee truly made a difference in my stay, and I’d happily return knowing I’d receive that same level of service again. Highly recommend!”

“Stopped here for a night on the way to Jasper via the Rocky Mountaineer. Lovely stay, gorgeous community and wonderful staff at the hotel itself. There was a taller young man, dirty blonde who attended to my mother and I’s request regarding the industrial drying machine past 11 pm. He was super kind and helpful. Thank you so much for such a great stay!!!”
